OIf you are visiting Paris when you Hire Campervan London, there are a few things you should be aware of before you make your Paris Motorhome trip.
The journey from London to Paris is very straightforward, by taking the A20 road towards Dover and eventually coming on to the M20 motorway. The M20 will deliver you straight the the Channel Tunnel. The journey beneath the English Channel takes 35 minutes with 4 trains running per hour. See here for details of vehicle types allowed. Once you have disembarked in France the journey to Paris will take approximately five and a half hours, but this depends on time of day, weather, time of the week etc.
The Paris motorway system ,the Boulevard Périphérique, can be very congested at all times of the day. Switching lanes can become a dangerous and stressfull event and is not for the faint hearted.
The main thing to remember is to keep calm and carry on!
Parking in the centre of Paris is also very challenging so it is recommended that you find a campsite on the edge of Paris and use public transport to travel into the centre of Paris.
Once inside Paris, you are in one of the most enchanting cities in the world. Like London, there is a mixture of cultures and fashions
We recommend that you pay a visit to MotorhomingFrance.co.uk for some really good detailed information about the best campsites in the Paris surrounding area.
